Whiplash girlchild in the dark

Hello again dear readers. I have been trying to post this for a week or so, but there has been some... divine interventions. ;D Anyway. I came to introduce my new lovers, oh how firm is their embrace. <3

Hei vaan taas rakkaat lukijat. :D Kummiskin, halusin esitellä teille uudet rakastajani, joiden syleily on varsin tiukkaa tavaraa. <3

The lover number one is this gorgeous Erotex halfbust. <3 I bought this from lovely Lady Grotesca. I actually thought that this would have been a fullbust but since it looks and feels so wonderful I really don't mind! Mr. Wolf seemed to be especially fond with this one. ;3

The lover number two I bought from Corsets UK sale. This one isn't nearly as comfortable as the previous one, but it creates a very nice waist even for the square old me. :D The skirt I'm wearing in the picture is self-made, since I totally needed something to wear with these lovelies. <3 The fishnet tights I bought quite recently from some sweet old lady who was giving up her lingerie store. They cost me only five euros and by the feel and look of the quality I'd say they probably cost something around 20-30 euros originally so it was a total bargain! These corsets cost me around 50 euros each (shipping included) and the skirt was free since I made it with materials I already had (fabric was new and the zipper reused).

In a couple of months you will get a better look of the first corset since I wore it for a modelling gig and I will publish the photos as soon as I can and tell you more about that awesome project. :3

Parin kuukeuden sisään näette muuten parempaa kuvamateriaalia tuosta ensimmäisestä korsetista, käytin sitä nimittäin yhdellä malleilukeikalla ja julkaisen kuvat heti kun mahdollista ja kerron lisää tuosta projektista ylipäätään. :3

But now I'm going to go rinse the dye out of my hair! Nothing fancy, just dying my roots for Kuopio Rockcock. :3 Which reminds me... only two days of work and then four (!!!) free days in a row! Come and poke me if you see me there. ;3

Dread

So. I've been dreaming of making my very first dread wig. I personally think that living with dread extensions actually attached to my head was way too hard (tried that a couple of years back) but they look so awesome so maybe this would be a good solution for me. I had some black DE dreads already and I recently bought some more from Countess Báthory. Then  I just bought a cheap wig from Pilailupuoti and started working!

Mun unelma on pitkään ollu väkertää mun eka rastaperuukki.

This is where I started. From left to right: my dreads, the bundle I bought from Countess Báthory and the wig.

Tästä lähdettiin liikkeelle. Vasemmalta oikeelle mun rastat, Countess Báthoryn rastalisäke ja peruukki.

Here everything organized and the wig cut ready for sewing.

Tässä kaikki järjestyksessä ja peruukki kynitty ompeluvalmiiksi.

Closeup of the wig.

Lähikuvaa peruukista.

The dreads sewn into the wig. I also added some of my own hair(!) from when I cut my bangs (I saved the little ponytail :3). The hair is attached to the other side of the fringe. Oh and I also added the pvc bandana by sewing.

Tässä rastat ommeltuna peruukkiin. Lisäsin otsikseen vähän mun omaa hiusta(!) (säästin sellasen pikku poninhännän ku leikkasin itelleni viimeksi otsiksen :3). Ompelin siihen myös ton pvc-bandanan.

Ta dah! :D

Tadaa! :D

Boobietrap

Teehee just something I made out of a peace of elastic band. I bought the band from Red Cross second hand shop's DIY table, cost like 20-50 cents, can't remember anymore. :3

Hihii tein tämmösen yks päivä kuminauhasta jonka ostin Kontin askartelupöydästä muutamalla kymmenellä sentillä. :3

Easy to make and looks nice. :3 Or what do you think?

Helppo oli tehä ja näyttää kivalta. :3 Vai mitä mieltä ovat lukijat?

Wouldn't you like to see something strange?

Halloween is probably my favorite celebration. Every year we hold a Halloween party for our friends with ghoulish treats, music and costumes. This year Wolf wanted to be an executioner (I totally have a thing for executioners!! *____* <3) and to match him I decided to go as decapitated Marie Antoinette. :D We didn't have that much money for the costumes so I made most of them myself. Wolf's hood used to be a t-shirt and my dress was made of a ragged corset top with broken bones and an old torn up sheet. Actually I had sewn the dress year ago for Zombie walk but it turned out nice enough so it deserved a new round. :) The wig turned out to be a bit of a problem, since the "dutchess" wigs were pretty expensive. Instead of purchasing one of those, I bought this one and tacked it together with thread. Then I just added some spiders and voilà! (I had some latex and fake blood left from this years Zombie walk so I didn't have to buy those). Anyway, here's how our costumes turned out!

Halloween on suosikkijuhlani.

Also, I noticed I forgot to make a post about the latest Zombie walk event. :D Here's a couple of pictures from there too! This years theme was mutants so it was a bit hard... :D

And finally, since today (yesterday actually...) was the official Halloween I decided to dress up a little bit for school as well. :)

I have one more Halloween party coming up next thursday, yay! I have not yet decided what will I wear though... yikes! Have you readers been dressing up for All Hallow's Eve? :)

*EDIT*

The photos from our Halloween party are © Pauli Tavasti. I 'shopped them (poorly) myself though. :D

Valokuvat halloweenpippaloista on muuten © Pauli Tavasti. Shoppailin ne kyllä (paskasti) ite. :D

Treasure hunting

Woah, another post for this week (see, I am trying!!). :D Anyway, I wanna show you some of the recent treasures I have managed to find. :3

This small shelf was originally white. I bought it from a flea market a while ago, I think it cost less that 2e... then I just painted it black. Now it holds our umbrellas, sunglasses, shopping bags, lighter etc. by the front door because we always forget to take those things with us when leaving the house. :D

I already had the Absolut Vodka Rock Edition bottle skin but recently I found the Masquerade skin too! Yay I've been looking for that for ages! And it only cost 50 cents at a flea market. :P

I bought a lamp from a flea market but the bastard didn't work! I returned it and thank goodness the seller agreed to take it back. Anyway it was a bit of trouble for me so I marched straight to Kodin 1 and found this terrible piece of lighting. :D It was last one, all dusty and hanging in the ceiling and the sales person agreed to sell it for me for only 9e and I also got the light bulb attached to it for free. Anyway, since orange isn't really my color I decided to paint the whole thing black. Here's how it turned out.

I think it's just perfect for me, a match made in heaven. <3 Well, at least for now. I still want to modify it a bit though... maybe I'll add some white lace to it or something? Or feathers! :D Ps. this is our "huge" kitchen, what do you think, should I show you the rest of our place too? :3

I bought these shoes for my sister's graduation party. They only cost 1,5e, however, they seemed a bit too boring for me. So I took some studs that are originally from my old Demonia Torments and pimped them a bit. Here's the result!

Somehow, they remind me of Lady Gaga. :D And of course they are bad ass. ;P Anyway, they are supposed to go with this faux leather dress that I made from an old skirt. :3

This other outfit (vest + skirt) is a flea market find. The whole thing cost only 2e and for some reason I get this  cool steam punk vibe from it. :D Also I think it's quite old and excellent quality. By the way, I'm sorry I have virtually no make up on in these photos. I had a terrible hangover and I just didn't feel like putting on much for a day home... :D

These hoodies aren't actually new, but I made them both smaller so they feel new to me now. :D I especially love the Type O Negative hoodie which is an old flea market find and huge in size. I took it in severely and now it looks like a dress, how cool is that? xD

And last but not least I found more bones when I visited our summer cottage again! Here are those. I think the long one is a rib from a seal and the small one is upper jaw of some bird, maybe a shelduck.

So... there was all this new stuff I've gotten. :P And now I want to ask you... do you think it would be better to change the language of this blog to Finnish? For now I seem to have only Finnish readers but... I sort of like this language and of course it's good for my language skills. ;P What do you think, should I?

/b/

This post is going to be pretty random, but I have some pictures to post so... :D Bare with me.

First some shopping, which I wasn't able to label under clothing or home decor. :D A couple of books (haven't finished them yet, though) and a make up bag. All these are from from different flea markets. The books were 1e each if I remember correctly and so was the make up bag I think. Can't really recall but nevertheless they weren't expensive...

Secondly, some recent sewing. I made my pvc pants a bit tighter and added belt loops. They oftentimes tend to fall down since they are so slippery... but not anymore! The fishnet hoodie was also way too big for me, but now it fits perfectly. <3 It's one of my new favourites. :) And finally, the pinstripe shorts weren't shorts at all originally, they were badly ripped full lenght pants... Now they seem nice and neat again and make a great pairing with that corset don't you think? :3

And thirdly, food. <3 Baking and prepairing food seems to beone of my favourite thigs to do nowadays. :) This one night I made hamburgers from scratch to go with some left over potato croquettes. Thay turned out to be humonbgous. Seriously, I think they weighted like 1kg each. o_o But they were delicious. <3 Self made bun, about 0,25kg mincemeat beef with some onion and garlic, couple of lices of processed cheese and some leftover regular, fried egg, couple of slices of leftover bacon, salad, tomato, cucumber and light salad dressing. Wolf said that on our first date I shoud have just haanded him a burger like that and he would have been sold already. :D <3 The way to a man's heart goes through his stomach they say... :D Oh and I also some oven baked apples and oat with vanilla sauce for dessert that night. I didn't make the vanilla sauce though, it's this. It's just delicious. <3 And the last picture is a Fallout themed mudcake I made for my friends birthday. :D I used Marabou mint krokant chocolate and it turned out fine. :3

Phew, just one more picture left to share with you! I dyed my roots again the other day and decided to try out something new with Wolf's hair with the left over dye. What do you think? Cool huh? Btw, he went for a couple of drinks that night and some girl tried to hit on him pretty persistently, so I think I didn't do half bad with his hair. :D

Ah. So there, some glimpses of my recent life. :D This doesn't include last weekend though, but I had a blast! Delicious food, booze, cute animals, dancing, gig and an awesome girl to hang out with, what'snot to like? I dessed up all in black pvc and felt pretty, maybe I'll post you a picture later? :3 And I didn't have much of a hangover despite the huge amount of consumed alcohol, wtf? :D Definitely an awesome weekend. <3

Anyway, this was all for now. Buh-bye. <3

The sandman stood me up.

I didn't sleep at all last night. I don't know why, I just couldn't. Anyway, in the morning I went to school and I was a bit hyper. Now, 12 hours (including some schoolwork, a long grocery shopping trip and some sewing) later, I feel exhausted. But as I said, I managed to sew a bit! This time I decided to modify one old Living Dead Souls top of mine (the one with no sleeves, a hood, skeleton print and attachable fishnet shirt with harness, I could't find a picture from the internet and forgot to take one) and fix a pair of fake leather pants that I bought from the nearby flea market earlier this week (they cost only 1 euro). You see, the top had some popper buttons, because of the attachable fishnet shirt and I was allergic to the nickel in them... So I removed the popper parts from the shoulders, removed the hood, widened the neckline and took the top in a bit and voilà! Here's the result.

And about the pants... I mentioned that they were very, very cheap. We'll they were in a pretty bad shape. Someone had tried to take them in by hand and the work was... poor. So I took them in again, this time by machine. I also turned around the ends of the legs and removed the ugly belt holders (one had already almost fallen off). Here's a picture of the pants also.

I must say I quite like the result. Also, when I went to shop some groceries I stopped by at Seppälä and bought to pairs of black lace panties, 2 euros each. So, today's improvement is pretty much just my ever growing wardrobe. :D Well, I did manage to take some pretty good photographs on our photography course at school earlier this week (and I usually don't), so I guess that counts as achievement. :) And yeah, the diet is still doing well, I should probably weight myself this weekend. :) So that's it for this pretty tiresome day, nighty night!

Over three thousand words.

...Or just 3 pictures. :) I thought it would be nice to put up some pictures of the shorts and bag I made, so there you go!

shorts

bag inside

Sorry about the bad picture quality, As you can see, I'm using a mobile phone camera at the moment, because my digital camera broke after our interrail trip last summer and I haven't had the money to buy a new one... I'm saving for a systems camera though!

Ps. My diet is soing ok, haven't eaten too much or unhealthily, been doing my sit-ups, push-ups, cycling, walking and so on. I was thinking maybe I should be just a little bit more severe and try If I could slim down for my birthday (which is 25th of February, so I got almost 2 months, not impossible!). Wish me luck. <3

Pps. Oh yay, I got one reader! Welcome! ^o^

Me, myself and I

I suppose I should tell a little bit about myself, so you know where I stand now.

I am 21 years old, I live in a small city in Finland, I have a fiancé (I shall call him Mr big bad wolf, or just Wolf, to hide his identity) and we have been dating about three and a half years now. I love gothic and fetish culture and fashion and I especially love pinstripe pattern and pvc fabric. I’m studying graphic design at the moment and I guess I’m pretty creative. I love to draw, paint, sew and modify stuff.

Speaking of sewing, here’s what I have accomplished today! I woke up early today with a bit of a hangover (I drank till 6am, went to bed and woke up at 10am, therefore slept four hours), took my sewing machine (a christmas gift from my mother  <3) and made myself a pair of pvc shorts and a shoulder bag (pvc on the outside and pinstripe on the inside). I am pretty happy with the results. :> My slimming project has also started nicely, today I did one hour of cycling and 100 sit-ups (and ate healthily and not too much either). :3

A good day all in all, tomorrow I’d like to go shopping a little bit. I need shower gel (this one would be nice), milk and eggs (how boring is that? :D). Anyway, see ya later, nonexistent readers… :D
