Everybody scream!

Monday. Usually Monday is just another day for me. I don't hate them and usually I feel pretty rested after the weekend so they tend to just fly by. Today however the day felt more like a stereotypical Monday. I had to do so much research for a project at work and it took way longer than I had expected and then the results weren't that pleasing either, bah! But tomorrow I'll roll my sleeves again and get working, at least now I have a plan, even if it took the whole day to figure it out.

However new pieces of clothing always have the power to cheer a girl up, don't they? Well they do, if they fit... I ordered some pretty expensive (=overpriced) items from lip service last week and today they arrived. I'll make an official post about them later, but now I must rant! I checked out their size chart as I always do and everything was supposed to fit well. The jacket I ordered did, pretty well at least, but the pants... well, otherwise as expected but the waist was like enormous compared to the size they give out. Like seriously, the pants are size small, but the waist is more like a large, wtf?! See for yourself:

So, I had to take up needle work once again and do something about that by hand (my sewing machine has been broken for ages now and I have no idea how to fix it, probably have to take it somewhere to be repaired...). The pants are wearable, but they still sag a bit and there is pretty much nothing I can do about that, since the size difference was so huge... well, I could if I was more skilled, but I suck at sewing really. I'm pretty bummed about this though, since they were a really expensive pair of pants so you kind of expect that they are what you ordered, right? Have you had similar troubles with Lip? I have managed to avoid them so far, but these pants were definitely a disappointment.

Well, if the new clothes didn't manage to cheer me up, the next weekend will for sure! Once again there is the IIK!! horror movie festival at Ii and I'll be working there (and watching movies on my free time of course!). This year we have some very interesting pieces, including Carrie, Blood for Dracula, Kiss of the Damned and Orlacs Hände. Ooooooh I can hardly wait! I hope Mr. Wolf will attend also as a guest and join in for a movie or two, I do love movie dates. ♥ If you happen to be around, join in as well. IIK!!

Hiya! I have an announcement to make! Next weekend (9.–11.11.12) I'll be working on a local horror movie festival called IIK!! :)

Heissan! Ilmoitusluontoista asiaa! Ensi viikonloppuna  (9.–11.11.12) työskentelen paikalisilla kauhuelokuvafestareilla joita myös IIK!!iksi kutsutaan. :)

This year we have a very good set of movies, including: REC 3 Genesis, The Phantom of the Paradise, The Phantom of the Opera, Excision and Game of Werewolves, just to mention a few. All the movies we'll be showing can be checked out from here. The festival locates in community hall of Ii and if you want to come to check out the movies, you can get tickets from here. :)

Tänä vuonna on ihan timanttinen ohjelmisto, tarjolla mm. REC 3 Genesis, The Phantom of the Paradise, The Phantom of the Opera, Excision ja Game of Werewolves noin muutamia mainitakseni. From the dark side of the Moon

Last Tuesday I got super lucky and got to go see Iron Sky film in advance (and for free too) at my local Finnkino theater! My co-worker had gotten some tickets and when he asked me to come too I was like: "OHMYGODYES!!" So, together we went and the experience was marvelous. I totally loved the film. The story was entertaining, especially for a comedy film, the animation and special effects better quality than I would ever have expected and the "afterparty" with the opportunity for questions and fun facts was really interesting! We also got free Scho-Ka-Kola (from a very beautiful lady <3), free poster and a free Iron Sky tour t-shirt! There was also a line for autographs but I was a little busy so I just grabbed the freebies and left. :P Too bad they didn't have a t-shirt in my size anymore, so I took Wolf's size instead. I'm either going to give it to him or make myself a dress from it. :D Anyway, here's a couple of pictures of the freebies.

Viime tiistaina minua lykästi toden teolla, pääsin nimittäin katsomaan uuden Iron Sky leffan ennakkoon ja vielä ilmaiseksi paikallisessa Finnkinossa! Työkaverini oli saanut jostain lippuja ja kun hän kyseli minua mukaan porukkaan olin ihan: "JEESUSKRISTUSVOIKYLLÄ!!" Jotenka kimpassa hilauduttiin Finnkinolle ja oli ihan huikeeta. Tykkäsin leffasta tosi paljon. Tarina oli varsinki komediaksi tosi viihdyttävä, animaatio ja erikoistehosteet parempia kuin olisin ikinä osannut odottaa ja leffan jälkeen pidetty "afterparty" jossa sai kysellä kysymyksiä ja sai kuulla hauskoja yksityiskohtia leffasta oli tosi mielenkiintoinen. Lisäksi saatiin ilmaista Scho-Ka-Kolaa (ihan mielettömän viehättävältä neidiltä <3), ilmainen leffajuliste ja kiertueteeppari. Myös nimmarin olisi saanut hakea, mutta tuossa vaiheessa mulla oli jo sen verran kiire että nappasin vain kylkiäiset ja hipsin tieheni. :P Sääli ettei paitoja ollut enää minun kokoani, mutta otin sitten Susihukan kokoa olevan paidan ja joko annan sen hänelle tai tuunaan siitä itselleni mekon. :D Joka tapauksessa tässä pari kuvaa kylkiäisistä.

Evil is his one and only name

Last Saturday me and Wolf went to see Dr. Professor's Thesis of Evil (the latest movie of Jukka Vidgren, the director of Usvapuro - The Forgotten) at local Finnkino movie theatre, since Kaleva.point was handing out free tickets. I was actually invited earlier to the crew premiere but then something happened and I sort of forgot to go... :D Anyway, it was nice to go see it with Wolf (and Ben & Jerry of course ;D) even though we could have watched it at home too, since it's available on Kaleva's website. Go see it, it was pure awesome!!

Viime lauantaina käytiin Susihukan kanssa katsomassa Dr. Professor's Thesis of Evil (Jukka Vidgrenin, eli  Usvapuro - The Forgottenin ohjaajan uusin leffa) paikallisessa Finnkinossa koska Kaleva.point jakoi ilmaisia lippuja halukkaille. Itse asiassa sain kutsun jo aikaisempaan tekijöiden ensi iltaan mutta sattui hassuja ja unohdin saapua paikalle... :D Joka tapaiksessa oli mukavaa käydä katsomassa leffa Susihukan (ja herrojen Ben & Jerry ;D) kanssa vaikka oltaisiin itse asiassa voitu katsoa leffa myös kotoa käsin, sillä se on kaikkien nähtävillä ilmaiseksi Kalevan sivuilla. Menkää katsomaan, oli ihan mahtava!!

She's in parties

Hi! I'm sorry about the lack of updates... I've been working from 8.30 to 22.00 almost every day and when I haven't I have most definitely been drunk. Last Friday I attended to OSAKORock event, which was held in the local heavy metal bar called Hevimesta. I had so much fun and I met many friends there and even managed to make some new acquaintances, nice to meet you both Variaznel and Neeppu. :3 Anyway, speaking of parties I just came to tell you that if you happen to be in Oulu on Wednesday (19.10.) there will be a goth/industrial/etc. club night on Nuclear Nightclub. The club is called Chambre Noir and the tickets will be 2e. I'll be there for sure, yay! <3

Heips! Anteeksi viimeaikainen blogihiljaisuus... Olen puurtanut koulun parissa puoli ysistä ilta kymmeneen lähes päivittäin ja silloin kun en ole tehnyt töitä olen melko todennäköisesti ollut kännissä. Viime perjantaina kävin tuulettumassa OSAKORockissa joka järjestettiin tänä vuonna Hevimestassa. Ilta oli tosi hauska, paljon kavereita tuli vastaan ja pari uutta tuttavuuttakin jopa. oli hauska tututstua Variaznel ja Neeppu. :3 Kummiskin bileistä puheen ollen piipahdin vain kertomaan että jos satutte olemaan Oulussa keskiviikkona (19.10.) niin Nuclear Nightclubissa olisi tarjolla gootti/industrial/jne. klubi-ilta. Klubi kantaa nimeä Chambre Noir ja liput sinne on tosiaan sen huikeat 2e. Itsehän suuntaan sinne, jeii! <3

Now I'm already runnig late so that's about it for today. Btw, wish me luck since I'm starting pole dancing again today! I'll be back later to tell how it went... :D Oh! And then I also need to ramble a bit about Dr. Professor's Thesis of Evil since I finally saw it on Saturday. Anyway, stay tuned!

Agh, olen jo myöhässä joten tässäpä tämä. Toivottakaa mulle onnea, aloitan tänään ihan virallisesti tankitanssin! Palaan myöhemmin kertomaan miten meni... :D Ai niin! And it's so easy when you're evil

As I told a (rather long) while ago I was helping out a school mate whose new short film will be out soon. I was modelling for their fan shirts and today I noticed they finally published the ad! Besides the awesome t-shirt this little modelling gig earned me a ticket to the movie premiere too, I'm sooooo excited!

Kuten (jo melko kauan sitten) mainitsin auttelin koulukaveria jonka uusi lyhytelokuva julkaistaan pian. Olin siis mallina heidän fanipaidoilleen ja tänään huomasin, että mainos oli viimein julkaistu! Räihäkkään teepparin lisäksi sain kutsun ennakkonäytökseen, jee en malttaisi odottaa!

Movie time!

Hi again! Sorry about this small blogging break I've had, I've been super busy with school. We had this course where we had to make three short films and I took part in two. On the other film I was screenwriter, director, gaffer (the guy working with lamps) and editor and in the other film I was responsible of boom (the mic) and sound. The cover of the first film looks like this.

If it's ok with rest of the film crew I try to upload this on youtube and link it here too. :) But anyway I was thinking that I could just tell a little bit of what I have been doing the last few weeks. And show pictures!

As you all propably know, Finland won the World Championship in icehockey. Yay! I've played icehockey myself for several years. And of course when Finland won I was super happy and we just had to go celebrate a little. :D Here's a picture of how wolf and I looked that night. Yay for beer and blue lipstick. :D

We also had another reason to celebrate. Wolf and I had our "three years engaged" anniversary. <3 We just prepared great food, exchanged gifts and had a good time together. <3

 I just love steaks made by Wolf, that guy sure knows how to cook. <3 Btw, the cultery in the picture is a recent flea market find. Six steak forks and six knives (all stainless steel) together only 1,50e!

Wolf bought me Mango shower gel and body lotion from The Body Shop. I just love the scent. <3

Here's a (really bad) photo of the card that I made for Wolf. :3 I also gave him a silver ring with a black stone and a dirty book. ;3

Yay and Wolf also took some pictures of me on the balcony. :3 The sunset was so pretty too. <3

And finally like about a week from our anniversary we decided to go see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. I liked it very much although not as much as I liked the three previous ones. But that mermaid sure was dreamy. <3

From now on I will try my best to blog more regularly, maybe later this week or the next... of course I could just tell you the rest about how I've been lately but I'm simply too tired to do that right now. I have a terrible hangover because we had our karonkka (to celebrate the finished short films) yeasterday. Also my elbow is busted and I have huge blisters in my feet. :D But I had so much fun though. xD Anyway, see you in a bit! I hope... :D
