Treasure hunting

Woah, another post for this week (see, I am trying!!). :D Anyway, I wanna show you some of the recent treasures I have managed to find. :3

This small shelf was originally white. I bought it from a flea market a while ago, I think it cost less that 2e... then I just painted it black. Now it holds our umbrellas, sunglasses, shopping bags, lighter etc. by the front door because we always forget to take those things with us when leaving the house. :D

I already had the Absolut Vodka Rock Edition bottle skin but recently I found the Masquerade skin too! Yay I've been looking for that for ages! And it only cost 50 cents at a flea market. :P

I bought a lamp from a flea market but the bastard didn't work! I returned it and thank goodness the seller agreed to take it back. Anyway it was a bit of trouble for me so I marched straight to Kodin 1 and found this terrible piece of lighting. :D It was last one, all dusty and hanging in the ceiling and the sales person agreed to sell it for me for only 9e and I also got the light bulb attached to it for free. Anyway, since orange isn't really my color I decided to paint the whole thing black. Here's how it turned out.

I think it's just perfect for me, a match made in heaven. <3 Well, at least for now. I still want to modify it a bit though... maybe I'll add some white lace to it or something? Or feathers! :D Ps. this is our "huge" kitchen, what do you think, should I show you the rest of our place too? :3

I bought these shoes for my sister's graduation party. They only cost 1,5e, however, they seemed a bit too boring for me. So I took some studs that are originally from my old Demonia Torments and pimped them a bit. Here's the result!

Somehow, they remind me of Lady Gaga. :D And of course they are bad ass. ;P Anyway, they are supposed to go with this faux leather dress that I made from an old skirt. :3

This other outfit (vest + skirt) is a flea market find. The whole thing cost only 2e and for some reason I get this  cool steam punk vibe from it. :D Also I think it's quite old and excellent quality. By the way, I'm sorry I have virtually no make up on in these photos. I had a terrible hangover and I just didn't feel like putting on much for a day home... :D

These hoodies aren't actually new, but I made them both smaller so they feel new to me now. :D I especially love the Type O Negative hoodie which is an old flea market find and huge in size. I took it in severely and now it looks like a dress, how cool is that? xD

And last but not least I found more bones when I visited our summer cottage again! Here are those. I think the long one is a rib from a seal and the small one is upper jaw of some bird, maybe a shelduck.

So... there was all this new stuff I've gotten. :P And now I want to ask you... do you think it would be better to change the language of this blog to Finnish? For now I seem to have only Finnish readers but... I sort of like this language and of course it's good for my language skills. ;P What do you think, should I?

Movie time!

Hi again! Sorry about this small blogging break I've had, I've been super busy with school. We had this course where we had to make three short films and I took part in two. On the other film I was screenwriter, director, gaffer (the guy working with lamps) and editor and in the other film I was responsible of boom (the mic) and sound. The cover of the first film looks like this.

If it's ok with rest of the film crew I try to upload this on youtube and link it here too. :) But anyway I was thinking that I could just tell a little bit of what I have been doing the last few weeks. And show pictures!

As you all propably know, Finland won the World Championship in icehockey. Yay! I've played icehockey myself for several years. And of course when Finland won I was super happy and we just had to go celebrate a little. :D Here's a picture of how wolf and I looked that night. Yay for beer and blue lipstick. :D

We also had another reason to celebrate. Wolf and I had our "three years engaged" anniversary. <3 We just prepared great food, exchanged gifts and had a good time together. <3

I just love steaks made by Wolf, that guy sure knows how to cook. <3 Btw, the cultery in the picture is a recent flea market find. Six steak forks and six knives (all stainless steel) together only 1,50e!

Wolf bought me Mango shower gel and body lotion from The Body Shop. I just love the scent. <3

Here's a (really bad) photo of the card that I made for Wolf. :3 I also gave him a silver ring with a black stone and a dirty book. ;3

Yay and Wolf also took some pictures of me on the balcony. :3 The sunset was so pretty too. <3

And finally like about a week from our anniversary we decided to go see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. I liked it very much although not as much as I liked the three previous ones. But that mermaid sure was dreamy. <3

From now on I will try my best to blog more regularly, maybe later this week or the next... of course I could just tell you the rest about how I've been lately but I'm simply too tired to do that right now. I have a terrible hangover because we had our karonkka (to celebrate the finished short films) yeasterday. Also my elbow is busted and I have huge blisters in my feet. :D But I had so much fun though. xD Anyway, see you in a bit! I hope... :D

Finally I have decided

...to show my face to you! I've been thinking that this blog lacks personality and I also think it's because I don't have a face. I liked being anonymous, I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to matters like these, but I'll try to be brave from now on. ;)

Anyway. I've made a couple of small trips recently and since I'm too busy to talk about them right now I'll just share some holiday pictures. :D

Remember I told you that Wolf had this school related drinking fest and while he was in there I went to party with a friend of mine? Here's a quick snapshot to show my outfit for the night (I decided to go as trashy as usual and it was a good decision, yay ^^).

A week after that we went to visit our families. We also spent a couple of nights at our summer cottage and I skinnydipped even though the sea was still full of ice! I tell you it was cold. :D I also made a great find: two spine vertebras (I think they are from a seal). I found them laying on the beach and I think I want to craft something cool out of them. ;)

We also visited some friends and played frisbee with their children. For some reason I look kinda evil in all pictures as you can see. :D

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from Walpurgi's night, except of the pizza I made. :D Anyway, student jumpsuit, booze and sauna pretty much sums it up. And the pizza was yummy. :P

But as I said I'm in a hurry. :D I'll post something more interesting when I have more time. :) Hope you readers had a nice Easter and Walpurgi's night too!
